The province and the city unite, LP and other parties unite, different groups and individuals unite to support me...I am grateful and blessed...
I gave way to the group and to the city and decided to go for re-election despite my good standings in surveys for City Vice Mayor. I did it for the unity of the group and for the good of the City. The next time around God willing and with the strong support of the people we will unite and go for a much higher position than Vice Mayor so that we can serve the people with a more influential position.

I am thankful of the warm support and trust of the Ilonggos...I filed my COC yesterday Nov. 28. 2009 at 8am. I started the day hearing mass with friends and supporters that was followed by the blessing of my COC. After which, speeches of strong support from Mayor Trenas and Vice Mayor Jed for my candidacy were given as well as my speech for my plans for the City. Then, a long procession to the COMELEC office transpired with hundreds of my most ardent supporters. Most notable people who were there aside from the City Mayor and City Vice Mayor were Gov. Tupas (my Tatay who was there as my dad not as an official since Iloilo City is a highly urbanized city and is independent of the province), former Mayor Myrna Causing Tupas (my Nanay), my LP Iloilo City partymates aside from the City Vice Mayor, Councilor Lyndon and Atty. Gerochi as well as ng Rudy Eslita, barangay captains, barangay kagawads, head and members of the transport sector, youth leaders, SK Chairmen, socio-civic and community leaders, family members, my staff and supporters. I feel so blessed to be given the trust and support of the Ilonggos. I will continue to provide LEXcellent service to the Ilonggos...They deserve to be served well and good.
